A treasure-trove, Mallaig’s Heritage Centre pays tribute to the landscape, people and culture of the area. Until the beginning of the 20th century, this area was one of the least visited areas in the whole country. Its rugged terrain is the scene of Bonnie Prince Charlie’s refuge after the Battle of Culloden.
