Presenting the history of the Cameron Clan, from the 14th Century to the present day, the museum focusses on local history, including the Jacobite uprising and the area’s role in training commandos for deployment in WW2. The area is steeped in historical significance, which is fairly presented at the museum. Cameron clansfolk from around the world visit the museum to pay respect to their ancestors, and to better understand their own heritage.
